Autoweek drives 2005 Dodge Ram SRT-10 Quad Cab

It's official - the SRT-10 was designed as a way for Viper owners to tow their vehicles to the race track. Thank goodness because until now, we've had the wool pulled over our eyes. We initially thought it was intended to be the world's fastest method of hauling a queen size mattress home from Sears. This year the folks at Dodge decided that a 500hp V10 pickup needed more practicality, hence the quad cab. Power delivery remains unchanged, with a 500hp 8.3 liter V10.
