2005 Tacoma Reviewed: USA Today takes on the X-Runner

James R. Healey always gives it to us straight. In his round-up of the new line of Toyota's compact, now mid-size, Tacoma he starts things off with a long list of things he doesn't like. It's almost like ripping the band-aid off to make you feel better. He give ample platitudes to the engine and power and especially enjoys the X-Runner model that features vastly improved sports handling and muscular gearbox. Healey also digs the variation of models buyers have at their disposal.
