Your right foot simply can't wait: new Mustang already set for Roush enhancements

The 2005 Ford Mustang that will reinvigorate the obnoxious stoplight burnout scene starting next month has already been slated for Roushification. Jack Roush is the Ford tuner hoping to tide 'stang fans over for a year until the next-generation SVT Cobra arrives. Roush is rolling out the Stage 1 package in November, consisting of speedy-looking bodywork, a lowered suspension to put the aforementioned bodywork at risk over every surface imperfection, 19-inch wheels, custom exhaust tips and a hood scoop. None of which make the car any faster or handle any better. January will bring chassis mods and spring will yield a Roushed Mustang powered by a supercharged 4.6 liter V8.
