2005 Volvo XC90 will finally be able to get out of its own way

And that's thanks to its new 4.4 liter V8 borrowed from, ahem, Yamaha. The powerplant will create 320-hp and hopefully quell the rising tide of audible disgust from those who think this SUV is akin to that wimpy beachgoer who always used to get sand kicked in his face and couldn't do anything about it because of aforesaid wimpiness. Well, go ahead and kick sand now, bullies, because there's a new Charles Atlas in town, and he can move your family safely across town or rip your throat out, depending on his mood. So be careful not to cross him.
