Because R stands for racing: Aston Martin returns to the track with the DBR9

Ford's most premium, exclusive and expensive marque will hit the lapping circuit for the 2005 season with the DBR9, a GT developed by tuner Prodrive to compete in such big deal events as the 24 Hours of LeMans. Along the lines of the Mercedes CLK DTM AMG, a few DBR9s will be made available for private purchase, at a price so high it cannot be legally divulged without blowing your mind.
