Cars in California in the summer: concourses dominate August

Here's the first installment of the info you need if you're going to hit the concourse circuit this August, cribbed from Autoweek: The Concorso Italiano will take place August 13th at the Black Horse Golf Course in Monterey, showing 500 Ferraris and 1000 non-Ferraris. The mother of them all, the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance will  transpire on August 15th at, you guessed it, the Pebble Beach Golf Course, to displays many Ferraris and a fantastic collection of Georges Paulin designs, not to mention myriad other amazing vehicles against one of the most dramatic natural backdrops in the world. Also, the Monterey Historics Auto races will be held from August 13th to 15th at the famed Laguna Seca Raceway. More Ferraris, anyone? More events to come.
