Got horsepower?

It has begun. A new horsepower war is in progress. Why should everyone be interested? Even with gas prices at all time highs, the car companies keep trying to outdo each other in the power department. Daimler Chrysler's modern Hemi started the whole explosion of muscle for the 21st century. But there's a problem. Ford & GM are bringing competition. What does Daimler do? They're working on a new 6.1 liter Hemi that could produce up to 380-horsepower in cars like the new Dodge Charger. Where will it end? We're guessing in the next few years, cars will have their horsepower numbers badged on the side panels like the days of yore. Maybe the era of muscle cars has returned.
