Chrysler Recalls 438,000 PT Cruisers

You read it right. 438,000 PT Cruisers for the model years 2001-2004 have been recalled because of a power steering fluid leak that could cause fires in the engine. This potentially horrendous side-effect is a major shot to the car company that is already looked upon as not the most reliable of carmakers. Even the recent recall of over 100,000 Mitsubishis seems paltry compared to almost half a million PT Cruisers. Half a million. How does that happen?
