Ford wants a HEMI of its own

"Does that thing have a HEMI?" While the catchphrase has yet to hit the zenith of irritation that "Can you hear me now?" has achieved, Ford is hoping to contend with Dodge's marketing success by developing a big V8 of its own. The Detroit News reports that the engine will displace 6.2 liters, more than any its closest competitors. The unnamed engine (may I suggest DEMI, after the powerful actress Demi Moore?) will be part of an initiative undertaken by Ford to release 11 new powertrains over the next few years.
