Horribly obvious puns notwithstanding, Autoexpress is reporting that Saab's design chief Michael Mauer is making the move to Stuttgart to be the main style guy for Porsche. He will replace Harm Lagaay, the aesthetic auteur of both the Boxster and upcoming 997. MG Rover's design dude Peter Stevens heralds significant changes for P-cars, saying, "When a new man comes in, he wants to make it apparent where the old design work stopped and his started."
