Ferrari 599 GTO – Click above for high-res image gallery

The 599 GTO being the fastest road-going Ferrari ever to roll out of Maranello, you don't stand much chance of seeing one sitting still. Of course, the limited run of 599 examples doesn't help. But as if an excuse were needed, that does give us a reason to bring you the latest batch of high-resolution images showing the Prancing Goat in all its glory.

You can check 'em all out in the gallery below. That is, assuming you haven't seen enough from the seemingly endless stream of videos that have circulated since the supercar's debut. Yeah, we didn't think so.

Yuck. It's overweight and ugly, yet another shameful overpriced-blob-with-a-Scuderia-badge (a badge that does NOT belong on a road car, period) designed for fat bankers who don't know how to drive. I'd say "Enzo would be appalled", but he was a cynical bastard and would probably just laugh at the company's latest effort to separate the more-money-than-brains crowd from their cash. Really, it's the same game he and Chinetti were playing 50 years ago, just cruder. What a mess.

Looks great in photos, videos and real life... I've seen a two-tone black roof / white body combo with the same dark grey wheels and I loved it. Or did I love the noise more...?

Either way, best Ferrari money can buy. Looks gorgeous, sounds amazing and drives like heaven!

They know their Ferraris up here in Zocca, perched high in the Apennine Mountains along the spine of Italy. They should, since Maranello is only a half hour away and the narrow, tortured road that leads here is a favorite of Ferrari test drivers.

If you live in NYC, swing by the Ferrari dealership on 5th Ave. They have the first GTO. Literally, the first of the 599. In red. It's pretty damn amazing.

As Ferraris go, they've done a lot worse lately. But this isn't pretty enough to live up to the name, IMHO.

Got to see is in person back in May at the Ferrari Challenge at Infineon, and it has great presence compared to the 458 which was also there. I like the 458, but it could almost be badged a Honda and be the second coming of the NSX, whereas the GTO looks like a proper Ferrari. Overall very similar to the standard 599, but the brakes look bloody epic.

Big thumbs up for a good looking V12 Ferrari.
