Exotic ringtones: Make your iPhone sound like a Ferrari 458 Italia
If you're like us, you probably won't be able to afford your own 458 Italia and experience this prancing pony's 40 valve symphony from behind the wheel. But that doesn't mean you can't take the sound with you. The 458 Italia microsite now has downloads for you iPhone (in M4R format) that will allow you to take Ferrari's siren song with you everywhere you go. The five available ringtones include: On the track, Overtaking, Acceleration, Off the mark and On board. If you don't have an iPhone, you can also download the tunes in MP3 format, along with several different screen savers, none of which suck. Happy downloading!

SPEED TV had some ringtones available a few years back that included a F1 Ferrari V10 reving through the gears. It sounded sweet, but after a few rings It drove me crazy!

Dear Editor,
I really enjoy your new Auto/iPod blog. Now I don't have to mess with all those other iPod related blog sites and can get all my news from a single source. What a time saver.
P.S. Can you throw in some reviews of those cool race car beds I see advertised in the Sears catalog?
Thanks!

The best ring tone I've heard was at a supermarket: a woman moaning in ecstasy. It got everybody's attention, including Harry and Sally.
