First look at new NISMO 370Z?

It appears that the current NISMO Fairlady Z S-Tune GT might have a replacement waiting in the wings when the new Z car (370Z here in North America) arrives on scene. The photo above is now making the rounds on the web, and at the very least, it indicates that NISMO will probably have accessories (like the body kit shown) ready to go for the Fairlady Z's JDM launch.
The current Fairlady Z S-Tune complete car is equipped with all manner of NISMO goodies (underhood, suspension, brakes, interior, exterior -- the works), and you can pretty much write it down that they'll do something similar with the new ride as well. It's more a matter of when than if. Anyway, we expect to hear much more in the days to come, since the 370Z's official unveiling in L.A. is just around the corner. Thanks to Chuck for the tip!

It's already been released through technical sheets there will be 5 trims similar to 2003:
Base, Enthusiast, Touring, Grand Touring and Track. The Nismo aero kit may only be available in Japan (see FairladyZ badge in image).

There is no comparing the Nismo 370Z with it's predecessors. Don't believe me?

IF it's an original leaked picture, I like it better than the original 370Z. But I'm still no fan. Rather own a Cayman, if only I could fit in it, had the money and age (But imagine what it's like to see a 911 in a Cayman... Might just leave a bad taste in your mouth).

I'm not a fan of any Japanese cars... but the new 370Z looks kind of nice :)
I can see people who want a small and cheap (relatively) V6 sports car going for the new Z. This car is way better than the old one... the 350Z just sucked inside out :(
As for this NISMO thing... loose the obnoxious wing and skirts. Would have looked better with a more flowing wing desing, but the target audience might like it.

I am a fan of good cars (japanese, german, american, it doesn't matter). It's pretty obvious that there are people who dislike a car just because of where it is from which is utterly STUPID.
I'm also right in the target demo for this car and agree with you I would rather see a cleaner NISMO car for once.

They are ridiculous. It makes the car look like a HotWheels. It needs some 24x10s in front and 26x12s in the rear to fill up those wells!

Nissan needs to announce a higher level of 370ZX trim packages that all include a turbo with 80 or so extra horsepower. A fee would definitely be worth the entry.

That would make a 400+hp Z, which would be way too close to the GTR and way too expensive.

I agree with Jake B, but I think they really need to cut some trim levels as well. Have a 370Z, 370ZX Turbo and maybe a Nismo. I'm sure the majority of sales would be to the base version but aren't they always???

Maybe there just isn't a Japanese car that exists to please these individuals? Maybe it's as simple as that. Jumping to conclusions, in my view, is even more stupid. Although, I wouldn't have a Chinese made car for safety and reliability reasons.
With that said I never liked the cheesy chubby look of the 350Z and this new one is even worse. Cars in general are getting uglier. They all llok like they're made out of Tupperware.

Whats purpose does nismo serve, slap a body kit on a car and charge another 15 to 20 gran does not make the car special... what ever happen to the ZX Turbo.
