Correction: Honda F1 not testing Danica, but would like to

Yesterday we reported that Danica Patrick would test with the Honda F1 team at the end of the season. That report was a false start: Honda F1 CEO Nick Fry said there was no arrangement for Danica to test, and that she and the team have had no contact. However, Fry did say that if she wanted to test, they "would be more than happy to speak to her about it." The original source for the Danica-will-be-testing article was an Austrian newspaper interview with the same Nick Fry, which even included a time frame for the test. Something was apparently lost in translation... Thanks for the tip, NIBAL!

I used to hate her, but now I don't. It's actually pretty impressive that there is one woman in the world that can drive a vehicle without wrecking every other day. Oh wait...she DID hit that crew chief...oh well, never mind then.

Well, the guy did get in her way, and wasn't paying attention to what was coming
And if you saw the Canadian Grand Prix, well, Lewis Hamilton probably was dumber than any driver when he "missed" the red light

Maybe Nick Fry meant he would like to "test" Danica..

Please don't compare her Hamilton, he's such a good driver. I would like to see how does he compare to Schumacher though.

Sorry I didn't know "good" drivers like Lewis missed red lights and hit parked cars.

Don't you mean sexisim or masogonism? Unless of course you were refering to black people being racist against Danica or maybe Asians agianst Danica. The Asian thing makes little sense though considering the F1 team is Honda. Or maybe you thought the Auto bloggers would lash out at Honda out of racial furry?

Gabriella Sabatini... when you're the best of the regulars in an otherwise ugly sport, you're then naturally a beauty. Skill wise, I give her credit, she is pretty good, irrespective of gender.

The question is not how good she is, the question is how good she was when she first started... He*ll how long has she been given the opportunity to race and improve her skills, at this point she better be good.
This story sounds kind of fishy, to be so enthusiastic about contacting her for testing, why didn't they think about it in the first place...

Is it me, or does she look like a pouty 8 year old that found mommy's sunglasses in that picture?
I don't know if it's the oversized frames or the poutiness, but she definitely looks very, very young.

I still don't understand the Danica hype.
She's an average looking woman who's won what - 1 race?
