Click the Alfa 8C Competizione for a high-res gallery
When Alfa Romeo showed off the magnificent 8C Competizione coupe earlier this week, the gathered media got to look at it, photograph it, touch it and drool at the site of it. What we didn't get to do was drive it. Alfa did, however, provide some video footage of the 8C on the road attacking the sort of twisty mountain roads that would make a daily commute actually enjoyable. Alas we can but dream, and watch the video after the jump.

The lower half of the body behind the A-pillar seems a bit blank, but maybe not so in person.
Altogether, still has to be in the top 5 or 10 new cars that I've seen in the past decade. So, when does Alfa start exporting to the US and at what price?

Youtube's quality is so bad it is not even funny. It was pretty goods 3 years ago but please we all moved on so should Auotoblog. It is good for cat playing piano or granny falling off stairs, but not for something that needs good quality audio and visual.

Maybe it's just me or just b/c it's just one pre-prod model, but the orange peel on the side mirror, mis-aligned gaps in the body panels, and other quality control niggles in the pictures raise a red flag...
