Rolls-Royce is aiming to innovate aircraft travel with a commitment to unlocking technological advancement through its all-electric ‘Spirit of Innovation’ airplane. The aircraft itself is a rear steering “Tail-Dragger” airplane, and in 2021 it reached a top speed record of 345.4 mph. Breaking Siemens-powered Extra 330LE record of 213 mph by 132 mph. During its runs ‘The Spirit of Innovation’ reached speeds of 387.4 mph making it the world’s fastest all-electric vehicle.
