Building on the popular Chevrolet Malibu, the Malibu Hybrid introduces a strong hybrid technology that leverages components from the plug-in Chevrolet Volt, reaching an exceptional level of fuel efficiency. A direct-injection 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a two-motor drive unit powers the Malibu Hybrid, generating 182 horsepower of total system output.
