Overview

The LS 500 is the top of the range luxury offering in the Lexus line-up. A sedan designed to rival, if not topple, the German mainstays in this class. The Lexus LS 500 is powered by a twin-turbo V6 displaces 3.5 liters that makes 416 horsepower and is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. The LS 500 comes with plenty of equipment as standard including a power moonroof, dual-zone climate control with a built-in smog sensor, a navigation system displayed on a 12.3-inch display, a park assist system, heated and ventilated front seats, rain-sensing wipers, electronically dimming inside and outside mirrors and tons more. Safety equipment across the lineup includes front and rear parking sensors, an active lane departure system, blind spot warning, forward and rear collision mitigation, pedestrian detection, a driver attention alert and a traffic sign information system. The Lexus LS 500 remains essentially unchanged for the 2021 model year, though a few minor tweaks were made to the engine and suspension to increase the ride and efficiency.
