2021 BMW X4 M40i 4dr All-Wheel Drive Sports Activity Coupe

Overview

The BMW X4 Sport Activity Coupe combines the performance and capability of a premium Sports Activity Vehicle, with the style and elegance of a traditional coupe. The X4 is available in two trim levels: xDrive30i and M40i. The xDrive30i is powered by a 248-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, while the M40i has a 355-hp 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder. Both engines are paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. Standard equipment on the xDrive30i includes 19-inch alloy wheels, power tailgate, sport seats, panoramic moonroof, LED headlights and fog lights, SensaTec leatherette upholstery, genuine wood interior trim, dual-zone automatic climate control, navigation system, Active Protection, Active Guard and BMW Assist eCall. The M40i is further outfitted with Adaptive M suspension, M Sport brakes and exhaust, Comfort Access keyless entry, adaptive LED headlights with auto high-beams, leather upholstery, aluminum interior trim, satellite radio and harman/kardon sound system. For 2021, the BMW X4 is mostly a carryover, adding more standard equipment like Android Auto and several driver-assistance features.
