Overview

The 2-series is a premium compact with typical BMW refinement and balanced performance. The 230i coupe/convertible is available in rear- or xDrive all-wheel drive and is powered by a 248-hp, 2.0-liter TwinPower turbo inline four-cylinder engine mated to either a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic transmission. Standard safety features include eight airbags (six in convertible), anti-lock brakes, stability and traction control, BMW Assist eCall, LED daytime running lights and run-flat tires with pressure monitoring. Standard features include SensaTec seating trim, rearview camera, power sport seats, 17-inch aluminum wheels, LED headlights and foglights, rain sensing wipers, automatic climate control and Bluetooth. For 2021, the BMW 2-series remains essentially unchanged while a new generation 2-series is anticipated for 2022.
