Overview

The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is the new plug-in version of the Outlander, combining electric efficiency and long-range practicality. The Outlander PHEV is powered by a 2.0-liter DOHC engine producing 117-hp alongside two 107-hp electric motors. Trim specific standard equipment includes 18-inch aluminum wheels, a power sunroof, High Beam Assist automatic high-beams, LED headlights, daytime running and front fog lights, heated leather bucket front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, SiriusXM satellite radio, Bluetooth, an 8-inch touchscreen display, HomeLink garage door transmitter and Apple CarPlayAndroid Auto connectivity. Safety features such as seven airbags, a rear view camera, distance pacing cruise control, Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Blind Spot Warning (BSW), Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RTCA) and pedestrian detection warning are all standard. The display screen in the Outlander PHEV gets an upgrade from 7 to 8-inches for 2020 while the two electric motors get a boost in hp from 80 to 107-hp.
