Overview

The Ford Fusion Hybrid offers buyers an earth-friendly alternative to regular mid-size sedans. Its hybrid system shines with reduced emissions and increased fuel economy, all wrapped in a sleek new body. The five passenger FWD Fusion Hybrid is offered in three trims, SE, SEL and Titanium all powered by a 141-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine in combination with an electric motor powered by a lithium-ion battery. To link the gas engine and electric motor together, an electronic continuously variable transmission, also known as an eCVT, is used to optimally match the power and gearing. Trim specific standard features include 17- or 18-inch aluminum wheels, LED daytime running lights, heated front seats, automatic dual-zone climate control, satellite radio, Bluetooth, 8-inch display screen, integrated navigation, FordPass Connect 4G LTE, Intelligent Access Key, rear camera and MyKey restricted driving mode. Safety features include 4-wheel anti-lock brakes with panic brake assist, Hill Start Assist, AdvanceTrac electronic stability and traction control, LED brakelights, security and tracker system, eight-airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system, active lane departure, rear parking sensors and Ford Co-Pilot360 with blind spot information, forward automatic emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert and pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection.
