Overview

The midsize Chevrolet Malibu sedan is a constantly evolving classic, blending contemporary styling, civilized road manners, quality construction and a comfortable interior. The Malibu is offered in five trim levels - L, LS, RS, LT and Premier. Power is supplied by either a 160-hp 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder Ecotec engine with auto stop/start technology, mated to a CVT transmission, or a 250-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, paired with a nine-speed automatic. Standard equipment on all trims include the Chevrolet Infotainment system, Bluetooth, 8-inch display screen and OnStar Navigation. Every Malibu (except L) stays connected with a 4G and Wi-Fi hotspot capability, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and smartphone integration while the LT and Premium trims add 17- or 18-inch aluminum wheels, LED daytime running lights, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control and leather upholstery. Standard safety features include 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, hill hold control, StabiliTrak stability/traction control systems as well as ten airbags. Other available technologies include a rearview camera, Forward Collision Alert, Rear Park Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Change Assist with Side Blind Zone Alert, and Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control. The Chevrolet Malibu carries-over with minimal changes for 2020.
