Overview

Like all Sierras, the 2500HD is available in a wide array of bed sizes, wheelbases, drive types and cab sizes, as well as a variety of trim levels. The Sierra 2500HD is available as a 4x4 Regular Cab with an 8-foot box, as a Double Cab 4x2 with an 8-foot box and 4x4 with a 6.6- or 8-foot box or as a 4x2 and 4x4 Crew Cab with a 6.6- or 8 foot box. The Sierra 2500HD is powered by a 360-hp 6.0-liter V8 and a 445-hp 6.6-liter V8 diesel both of the engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Trim specific standard equipment includes, 17- or 18-inch aluminum wheels, LED daytime running lights, pickup box cargo light, air conditioning, SiriusXM satellite radio, Pandora internet radio, GMC Infotainment System, Bluetooth, 8-inch touchscreen display, GMC 4G LTE and a remote locking tailgate. Available safety features include 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, six airbags, a rear view camera, low tire pressure warning, Teen Driver restricted driving mode, trailer sway control, stability control system, Ultrasonic Front and Rear Park Assist, Forward Collision Alert and Lane Departure Warning. Optional features that can be added include remote keyless entry, a remote starter, a Bose Speaker system, heated leather wrapped steering wheel, a rear seat entertainment system, a power sunroof and several side assist step and tonneau cover options. The Sierra 2500HD reduces the cab and drive options for 2019 while options and packages get minor changes.
