Overview

The Ford Fiesta is a sub-compact, five-passenger car available in both sedan and hatchback body styles. It challenges current benchmarks in its segment with sporty styling, a high level of technology and comfort features, and overall practicality. The front-wheel drive Fiesta S, SE and new ST Line trims are powered by a 120-hp 1.6-liter Ti-VCT four-cylinder engine; available transmissions include a five-speed manual and a six-speed PowerShift automatic. The performance-oriented ST gets a 197-hp 1.6-liter turbocharged direct injection four-cylinder engine, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Trim-dependent standard equipment includes: a rear spoiler, sport-tuned suspension, 16- and 17-inch aluminum wheels, fog lights, heated front seats, leather upholstery, automatic climate control and Intelligent Access with push-button start, along with HD/satellite radio, smartphone integration, two USB ports, a 6.5-inch touchscreen display and Ford's SYNC communications and entertainment system. Safety features found on every Fiesta include 4-wheel anti-lock brakes, AdvanceTrac stability control, traction control, a rearview camera and tire pressure monitoring, as well as seven airbags; MyKey parental controls are also available. The Ford Fiesta carries over with minimal changes for 2019. The Titanium trim level is no longer offered, while a new ST Line trim is added to the hatchback model. The ST Line features distinctive black styling elements, including the roof, grille, spoiler and exterior mirrors, as well as 16-inch black aluminum wheels.
