Overview

The Chevrolet Suburban retains the same maximum-size virtues that have made it a bestseller for so many years. It remains the first choice for anyone who needs to haul six or more people plus their cargo. Available in 2WD or 4WD and in three trims, the Suburban seats up to nine passengers. All trims are powered by a 355-hp 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8 engine coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission. The Premium Trim gets a new optional engine for 2019 this 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8 engine is capable of 420-hp mated to a ten-speed automatic transmission. Trim specific standard equipment includes heated mirrors, 18- or 20-inch aluminum wheels, heated leather front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, SiriusXM satellite radio, Bluetooth, 8-inch touchscreen display, OnStar Turn-by-Turn Navigation, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and 9- or 10 Bose speakers. Available safety features include 7 airbags, rear camera, low tire pressure warning, teen driving mode, Rear Park Assist, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, Forward Collision Alert with Automatic Braking and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. Optional features can be added such as a power tilt-sliding sunroof, a rear seat entertainment system, heated second-row seats, fog lights, Front and Rear Park Assist, a hands-free power liftgate and several side step options are also available. The Suburban adds a new engine for 2019 as well as new option and package configurations.
