Overview

The Equinox is Chevrolet's entry into the highly competitive small SUV market. It takes the winning combination of exceptional versatility, distinctive design and a high-level of practicality and adds innovative technology for safety, efficiency and entertainment. The Equinox is available in four trim levels, L, LS, LT and Premier, and can be had in front-wheel or all-wheel drive (excluding L on all-wheel drive). The Equinox is powered by one of three turbocharged four-cylinder engines in 1.5- 1.6- or 2.0-liter sizes mated to either a six- or nine-speed automatic transmission. Standard safety features include: four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, electronic stability system, six airbags, tire pressure monitor and OnStar. Available high-tech features include active aero shutters, LED daytime running lights, forward collision alert with low speed automatic braking, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, navigation system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging for mobile devices and teen driver mode. The Equinox is a carry-over for 2019.
