Overview

The Toyota Yaris combines a sporty "hot hatch" look with a roomy interior, agile handling and a fuel efficient engine in an entry-level, subcompact car. The front-wheel drive Yaris is available as a three- or five-door hatchback in three trim levels: L, LE and SE (5-door only). Power is supplied by a 106-hp 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, mated to either a five-speed manual transmission or a four-speed automatic. Trim-dependent standard equipment includes: 16-inch aluminum wheels, fog lamps, LED daytime running lights, air conditioning, HD/satellite radio, USB port, Bluetooth music streaming/phone connectivity, navigation app and a 6.1-inch touchscreen display. Safety features consist of anti-lock brakes with brake assist, electronic stability/traction control, Lane Departure Alert and Toyota's Pre-Collision System, as well as nine airbags; new for 2018, an integrated backup camera display is standard on all trim levels. The Toyota Yaris gets a refresh for 2018, including revised exterior styling and an upgraded interior, along with enhanced driver and safety technologies.
