2018 Subaru WRX Base 4dr All-Wheel Drive Sedan

Overview

The Subaru WRX is a rally-bred four-door sport sedan. A turbocharged engine, performance-tuned suspension and Subaru's venerated Symmetrical All Wheel Drive combine to set a benchmark in the competitive sport compact segment. The WRX is available in three trims: Base, Premium and Limited. Power is supplied by a 268-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged horizontally opposed four-cylinder engine, paired with a six-speed manual transmission; a Lineartronic CVT with paddle shifters is also available. Trim-dependent standard equipment includes: a power moonroof, steering responsive LED headlights, LED fog lights, 18-inch aluminum wheels, heated front seats, leather upholstery, automatic climate control, passive entry/start, HD/satellite radio, smartphone integration, voice-activated navigation and a 7-inch LCD touchscreen display. Safety features include 4-wheel anti-lock brakes with brake assist, electronic stability/traction control systems and a rear-vision camera, as well as seven airbags; Subaru's EyeSight driver assist technology is optional on Limited trims. The Subaru WRX gets a refresh for 2018, with more aggressive styling and enhanced equipment levels, including steering responsive LED headlights, keyless access with push-button start and updated EyeSight driver assist technology.
