Overview
The Ford Focus is economical but fun, setting a new standard in the compact car segment with stylish flair and the latest technology. The front-wheel drive Focus is offered in both four-door sedan and five-door hatchback body styles. Power is supplied by either a high efficiency 160-hp 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine, or a 123-hp 1.0-liter three-cylinder EcoBoost. Available transmissions include a five-speed manual, six-speed manual, six-speed automatic or six-speed PowerShift dual-clutch. Trim-dependent standard equipment includes: a power sunroof, 17-inch aluminum wheels, front fog lights, heated front seats, leather upholstery, dual zone automatic climate control and Intelligent Access with push-button start, along with HD/satellite radio, smartphone integration, an 8-inch touchscreen display and Ford's SYNC communications and entertainment system. Safety features include anti-lock brakes with brake assist, stability/traction control systems, MyKey parental controls and a rearview camera, as well as seven airbags. For 2018, the 2.0-liter PZEV emissions engine variant is no longer offered; otherwise, the Ford Focus remains essentially unchanged.
