Overview

The Ford Escape is a mid-size sport-utility vehicle, which incorporates the latest technology and style; setting a high standard in the SUV category. The five-passenger Escape is available in S, SE, and Titanium trims, in either front or four-wheel drive. Engine choices start with the 168-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder, followed by a 179-hp 1.6-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, and a 245-hp 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine. All variations are paired with a six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission. Standard equipment on all Escapes includes the SYNC communications and entertainment system with 4.2-inch screen, remote keyless entry and eco-mode. Standard safety features include 7 aibags, automatic headlights, rear view camera, AdvanceTrac stability control, and tire pressure monitor. The Escape is a carry-over for 2018.
