2018 BMW 330e iPerformance 4dr Rear-Wheel Drive Sedan

Overview

The 330e is the first plug-in hybrid sedan in the BMW line-up and promises emission-free local driving as well as the performance expected of a compact BMW sport sedan. The rear-wheel drive 330e sedan drivetrain features a 180-hp 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine and eight-speed automatic combined with a 76-hp electric motor sandwiched between them. The electric motor is powered by a 7.6 kWh lithium-ion battery that together with the gas engine generate a combined output of 247-hp and 310 lb-ft of torque. The full-hybrid system allows pure electric driving for up to 22 miles around town. Standard safety features include eight airbags, rear camera, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with adaptive brakelights, traction and stability control, rain-sensing wipers, active anti-whiplash head restraints, BMW Assist eCall, LED headlights and front fog lights and run-flat tires with tire pressure monitoring. For 2018, the 330e is now standard with a rearview camera and iDrive 6.0 with touch sensitive display.
