Overview

The Regal is Buick's mid-size sport sedan, featuring sleek, aggressive styling, a high level of standard equipment, and impressive attention to detail. It seats five passengers in comfort, while providing responsive handling and a dynamic, yet refined, ride. The Regal is available in front- or all-wheel drive, with four cylinder engines that include a 182-hp 2.4-liter ECOTEC and a 259-hp 2.0-liter turbo; both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Standard equipment includes: 18-inch aluminum wheels, LED daytime running lights, leather upholstery, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, satellite radio, 2 USB ports, Bluetooth wireless phone connectivity/audio streaming, smartphone integration and an 8-inch LCD touchscreen display. The GS model gets an exclusive treatment that includes a GS-specific grille and front/rear fascia treatments, an adaptive performance-tuned suspension with Interactive Drive Control, 19-inch aluminum wheels, sport seats and piano black interior trim accents. Safety features found on every Regal include 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, electronic stability/traction control systems, a rear vision camera and OnStar, as well as six airbags. The Buick Regal carries over with minimal changes for 2017.
