Overview

The Acura MDX offers luxury, outstanding V6 power, standard three-row seating and Acura's exclusive Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system. The MDX is offered in either front- or all-wheel drive configurations. Power is supplied by a 290-hp 3.5-liter direct fuel injected V6 engine, mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission with manual mode and paddle shifters; an Integrated Dynamics System (IDS) and Agile Handling Assist enhance ride and handling characteristics. Every MDX is outfitted with a power moonroof, power tailgate, 18- or 20-inch aluminum wheels and "Jewel Eye" LED headlights; interior comforts include heated front seats, leather upholstery, tri-zone automatic climate control and passive entry/start, as well as satellite radio, 4 USB ports, and the AcuraLink system with Bluetooth wireless connectivity/audio streaming and smartphone integration. Additional trim-dependent amenities include a voice-activated navigation system, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats and a DVD rear entertainment system. Standard safety-enhancing features include anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) with traction control, Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), and a multi-view rear parking assist camera, along with seven airbags. The Acura MDX has been restyled and reengineered for 2017. A new face-of-Acura Diamond Pentagon grille, chrome dual-outlet exhaust and 20-inch aluminum wheels highlight exterior changes, while available second-row captain's chairs enhance comfort and versatility.
