2016 Chevrolet Tahoe LT 4x4

Overview

The Chevrolet Tahoe gives customers the versatility and spaciousness they need when shopping for a vehicle with the towing and cargo carrying capabilities to meet their lifestyle requirements. Available in 2WD or 4WD and in three trims (LS, LT and the LTZ), the Tahoe seats up to nine passengers and is rated to tow up to 8500 pounds when equipped with the Heavy-Duty Trailering Package on the 4x2 model. All trims are powered by a 355-hp 5.3-liter V8 engine coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission. The new EcoTec3 engine uses cylinder deactivation, direct injection and continuously variable valve timing to maximize power and efficiency. Safety features standard on all models include four-wheel anti-lock brakes, StabiliTrak stability control system, seven airbags, including a new center mounted front airbag, tire pressure monitoring system, rear vision camera, and OnStar with Automatic Crash Response, Turn-by-Turn Navigation and Stolen Vehicle Assistance. A host of new advanced safety features are now available and they include Forward Collision Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and Side Blind Zone Alert. For 2016, the Tahoe LS trim adds Chevrolet MyLink, and OnStar 4G LTE mobile internet hotspot as standard equipment. All Tahoe trims now come standard with Apple CarPlay, while the LT and LTZ trims add Intellibeam automatic high beam control.
