Overview

With aggressive styling, sport suspension and V8 power, the full-size rear-wheel drive SS offers an exhilarating driving experience while providing luxurious space, comfort and convenience for up to five adults. The SS is powered by a 415-horsepower 6.2-liter V8 engine bolted to a six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift control. An optional six-speed manual transmission is also available. Standard equipment includes sport-tuned suspension, limited slip differential, 19-inch alloy wheels, Brembo front brakes, 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, heated and ventilated 8-way power leather seats with driver's side memory, satellite radio, automatic dual-zone climate control, Bose 9-speaker audio system, Chevrolet MyLink with navigation system, automatic parking assist, passive entry and remote start. Standard safety features include eight airbags, Side Blind Zone Alert, Forward Collision Alert, Land Departure Warning, rear camera and OnStar. A power sunroof is available. The SS carries-over unchanged for 2016.
