Overview

The Toyota Yaris combines a well-tailored, roomy interior with agile performance and a fuel efficient engine in an entry-level car. The subcompact front-wheel drive Yaris is available as a three-door or five-door hatchback. The Yaris is powered by a 106 horsepower 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, which is mated to either a five-speed manual transmission, or a four-speed automatic. There are three trim levels available, L, LE and SE (five-door only). Safety features include anti-lock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution and brake assist, electronic stability and traction control, whiplash lessening front seats, tire pressure monitoring, front seatbelt pretensioners and nine-airbags, including a driver's knee bag and driver/front passenger seat-cushion airbags. For 2015, the Yaris has been refreshed inside and out, the SE gets standard projector headlights with LED DRL's, power windows and a 60-40 split rear seat are standard on the L, 15-inch alloy wheels are now standard on the LE and all trims get a Display Audio system with 6.1-inch touchscreen and soft instrument panel and door panel material.
