Overview

The Kia Sportage is renowned for being an affordable compact SUV. It offers a comprehensive set of safety features, excellent versatility, and tremendous value. The Sportage is a five passenger vehicle that is offered in front-wheel (FWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD). A 182-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine is standard on the LX and EX trims and a 260-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder is standard on the SX trim. Both engines are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Standard safety features include four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, electronic stability program, traction control, and six airbags, including side curtain airbags. Some of the available features include: power heated leather seats, power folding mirrors, 18-inch alloy wheels, dual zone automatic climate control, a cooled glovebox, and a rear camera. For 2014, the Kia Sportage is refreshed inside and out, the base trim has been dropped and some repackaging has been done.
