2013 BMW X1 xDrive 35i 4dr All-Wheel Drive Sports Activity Vehicle

Overview

The X1 is BMW's newest Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) - a fresh interpretation of form meets function in the premium compact segment that blends unique styling, responsive driving dynamics and adaptable interior space. The X1 is available with two different engines, the X1 sDrive28i (rear-wheel drive) and xDrive28i (all-wheel drive) are powered by a 240-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode and auto start/stop; while the xDrive35i gets a 300-hp 3.0-liter inline-six cylinder mated to a six-speed automatic. Standard features on the X1 include 17-inch aluminum wheels (18-inch on 35i), fog lights, rain-sensing wipers, leatherette upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, Bluetooth and USB audio integration. Safety-related features include a rollover sensor, anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, anti-whiplash front head restraints, six airbags and a tire pressure monitor; rear parking sensors and a rearview camera are also available. The X1 is new to the BMW line-up for 2013.
