2011 GMC Terrain SLE-1 Front-Wheel Drive Sport Utility

Overview

The 2011 GMC Terrain is a boldly styled five-passenger crossover SUV engineered with excellent fuel economy in mind. The Terrain is powered by either a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 182-hp, or a 3.0-liter V6 engine with 264-hp. Both all-aluminum engines include direct injection and are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission that helps to maximize efficiency. Buyers can choose between either a front-wheel or all-wheel drive system, depending on which meets their needs. Standard safety features include four-wheel anti-lock brakes with electronic stability and traction control, six airbags, OnStar, tire pressure monitoring and a security system. Available technology features include a rearview camera, power liftgate, Bluetooth phone capability, remote vehicle start, seven-inch touch screen navigation with 40-gigabyte hard drive with USB connectivity, MP3 playback and XM satellite radio. For 2011, the optional V6 engine is E85 capable. The Terrain is built alongside its sister the Chevrolet Equinox in the CAMI assembly plant.
