2008 GMC Yukon XL 1500 SLE w/3SA 4x4

Overview

The GMC Yukon XL 1500 has a fresh and comfortable interior. Redesigned in 2007 it has a sleek new body mounted on a new, stronger and stiffer frame with a new power steering system, improved brakes, new front suspension and reworked rear suspension. Available in 2WD or 4WD and in three trims the Yukon XL 1500 seats up to nine passengers and is rated to tow up to 8100 pounds when properly equipped. Equipped with a four-speed automatic transmission, the SLE and SLT trims have a choice of four V8 engines, two of which are E85 fuel compatible. A 320-hp 5.3-liter V8 is standard on rear-wheel drive models, a 310-hp 5.3-liter V8 is standard with four-wheel drive. A 366-hp 6.0 liter V8 is optional. A 380-hp 6.2-liter V8 and six-speed automatic transmission are exclusive to the Denali trim. Safety features standard on all models include dual-stage front airbags, side curtain airbags, four-wheel antilock brakes with dynamic rear proportioning, Stabilitrak stability control system with rollover mitigation, tire pressure monitoring system, and OnStar. The 2008 model is a carryover from 2007.
