Overview

The Buick Rainier offers buyers a quiet, refined, SUV with all the luxury appointments buyers have come to expect in a vehicle of this caliber. Standard fare includes 17-inch alloy wheels, leather upholstery, woodgrain accents, and OnStar telematics. The base engine is a 4.2-liter inline six-cylinder that produces 291 horsepower. If even more power is desired a 302 hp 5.3-liter V8 engine is optional. Featuring traction control, StabiliTrac stability control, dual front airbags and 4-wheel disc antilock brakes, the Rainier is safe as well. For the discerning buyer, the options list includes items such as; a rear seat entertainment system with video screen, navigation system, satellite radio, sunroof, and power adjustable pedals. The Buick Rainier is a carryover from 2006 and 2007 will be its last year of production.
