Overview

The RL delivers the responsive handling of a sports sedan yet rides smoothly. It offers the latest in technology, including Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive and Collision Mitigation Braking System. The Acura RL comes loaded with every luxury and convenience feature imaginable, including leather upholstery and Acura's navigation system. It is powered by a 290-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 mated to a 5-speed automatic with manual gear-shift. Safety features include SH-AWD, Vehicle Stability Assist with traction control, anti-lock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution and Brake Assist. Passive safety features include a driver's and front-passenger's airbags, side curtain airbags, and side-impact airbags. A tire pressure monitoring system is also standard. For 2006, the Acura RL gets some package changes.
