Well, kids, it's been a rough one, but America has made it to another birthday. This is the one shining day out of the year when neighbors can comfortably put politics aside, share a frosty beverage and take comfort in the knowledge that despite our differences, we're all lucky to let freedom ring and call this stretch of the planet home.
