Cadillac Betting Big On CUE To Attract Tech Set

AOL Autos got an early demonstration of Cadillac CUE, the luxury brand's attempt at a modern, fully-integrated infotainment system for the upcoming XTS, ATS and refreshed SRX.

Our first impressions? Favorable. The system we tested was pre-production and not yet ready for installing in vehicles. But we like the basics of the system: a capacitive screen (like an iPhone that allows one to control functions with a finger rather than a stylus) with multitouch control and proximity sensors, capacitive center stack buttons and a configurable instrument panel. It was all pretty slick and very much modeled after Apple's approach to touchscreen technology.
