Alyssa Milano to buy both Nissan Leaf and Chevy Volt

Why suffer the agony of having to choose between buying a Chevrolet Volt or a Nissan Leaf when, in fact, you'd actually be proud to proclaim that you own both? Well, many of us simply can't scrounge up enough loot to purchase two vehicles, but, for cash-laden celebrities such as Alyssa Milano (and some others) a lack of money is not a valid excuse. However, Milano won't have to justify why she choose the Leaf over the Volt, or vice versa, because she has decided that parking one of each in her drive is the proper thing to do.

Milano – a mom-to-be – openly admits that she's "obsessed with everything green" and has decided that the addition of a Volt and a Leaf fits this fetish. For the record, Milano has "pre-ordered the Nissan Leaf" and, as for the Volt, that will be her husband's ride. Milano claims that the disastrous oil spill in the Gulf was a mind-altering event that convinced her to go electric, stating:

After the oil spill, I had this strong feeling that if I ever were to be blessed in having children, I never wanted my kids to see me pumping gas at a gas station. I think it's our responsibility to make the changes that we need to take regardless of convenience. I know it's more inconvenient to have an electric car, but I'll do what I have to do.

We'll see how she feels about the "inconvenience" of filling up at home once she's put a few miles on the Leaf.
