Olympic Torch takes a ride in a Ferrari on its way to Turin

On its way to Turin, Italy for the 2006 Winter Olympics, the Olympic Torch was passed off to Luca Badoer, test driver for Ferrari's Formula One team. Driving a red F430 Spyder, Badoer brought the flame slowly through Ferrari's headquarters in Maranello, Italy yesterday. Next stops for the torch include Verona and Venice.

This year's torch was designed by Pininfarina, the design house and coachbuilder responsible for many Ferrari designs.
