Miller Motorsports Park to be longest track in U.S.

A new track called Miller Motorsports Park is scheduled to open later this year in Utah. Its accompanying kart track is already complete and opens September 9th, while paving is well underway for the main track.

A public meeting and extravaganza is scheduled for September 7th in Salt Lake City's Delta Center, at which time the owners are planning to reveal some of their 2006 schedule of events, rumored to include an ALMS race.

The track's 4.5 mile main road course, designed by Alan Wilson, will be the longest in the U.S.
