Mitsubishi releases details on Raider and Eclipse: you can now get off the edge of your seat

The Raider will be Mitsu's Dodge Dakota-cribbed pickup with standard six or eight cylinder sub-hood lumps and two kinds of cab setups, most likely a two-door and a four-door. Besides being able to haul 27 bags of mulch back from Home Depot, the Raider will feature electronic gadgetry like Bluetooth integration and a 500-watt stereo. Likewise saddled with serious audio equipment (a 650-watt Rockford Fosgate with nine speakers and a 10-inch subwoofer) will be the 2006 Eclipse, which will be intro'd with the Raider at the 2005 Detroit auto show. Fortunately, the Eclipse has more than just wattage going for it— a six cylinder dispatching 260-hp will be teamed with a six-speed manual box. A tamer four cylinder and auto tranny will also be available for those who like their cars exciting on the outside but completely soporific to drive. Zzzzzzzzzzzzz.
