As long as everybody is on to them, Google is apparently set to step out of their surveillance vans and greet the world in a fleet of shiny new Cobalts. GM recalls 98,000 Cobalt Coupes

If you have a Chevy Cobalt built between 2005 and 2006 that doesn't have the optional roof-mounted side impact airbags, you could be getting a recall notice in the mail soon. Apparently Chevy (and presumably the NHTSA) discovered that there isn't sufficient padding to meet federal requirements in these vehicles, and unacceptable head injuries could result in a collision. High school students check out a different MINI during spring break

Over three dozen high school students will compete at this year’s National Automotive Technology Competition. The competition is to be heldduring the New York International Auto Show, and will pit students (paired in teams) with the task of diagnosing and repairing MINI Coopers. Prizes to be awarded include a pair of Chevrolet Cobalts and various scholarships.
